This Privacy Policy explains how nikvizTech ("we," "us") collects, uses, and protects your information when you use ProofIt, in line with India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023.

Information we collect

Name, phone number, email address
OTP verification records
Digital signature captured during contract signing
For payment/payout purposes — bank account details, IFSC code, and PAN
IP address at the time of signing or accepting a contract
Contract details you enter (work description, amount, deadline)

How we use it

To create and manage your account
To verify your identity via OTP before contract actions
To process escrow payments and release funds to the correct recipient
To resolve disputes
To comply with legal and tax obligations (including payment aggregator KYC requirements)

Who we share it with

Our authentication provider (Clerk), our payment processor (Razorpay), our OTP/SMS provider (MSG91), and our hosting/infrastructure providers — solely to operate the service. We don't sell your personal data to third parties.

Data retention.

We retain contract and transaction records as required by applicable financial regulations (which may require retention of transaction records for several years) and delete account data upon a verified deletion request, subject to legal retention requirements.

Your rights.

You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data by emailing contact@nikviztech.in. You can also delete your account directly from your dashboard.

Security.

We use industry-standard measures (encrypted connections, access controls) to protect your data, though no system can guarantee absolute security.
